Kundalini Yoga
The art of the creative self
Kundalini Yoga is one of the oldest yoga traditions. It is the science of consciousness and creative potential. It is the path to one's own heart and true self. We recognize our destiny and begin to live it.
Further information
From 50 basic postures, hundreds of postures asanas and movements are derived. Through the correct and concentrated execution of the exercises, the flexibility and vital dynamics in the body increases. Through correct and deep breathing Pranayama, our attitude towards life, our thoughts and feelings change. We increase our life energy and our ability to relax.
By reciting and chanting mantras, the mind calms and relaxes. Through the healing vibrations, consciousness expands and the connection to creation can be experienced again. The conscious channeling of life energy through the application of the body locks Bhandas supports the self-healing powers. Each Kriya practice sequence includes meditation with different hand postures mudras and breath forms. The deep relaxation Shavasana to gong or music, allows the integration of the released energy and a deep inner peace.
The Seeschau is the only center in Switzerland to offer the teachings of Kundalini Yoga in its full range: Weekly group lessons and private lessons, the early morning purification ritual Sadhana, themed workshops, Detox weeks and training with experienced masters from around the world.

Sadhana - Yoga before sunrise
The art of devotion
The early morning practice is a self-correction that creates a disciplined "channel" for the body and mind through which you can express the Infinite within you. Sadhana is a personal, spiritual practice that redefines the rhythm of your life and your behavior and aligns it with your true purpose. You consciously train your body and mind and raise the Infinite in your heart in word and attitude.

Hatha Yoga
The art of inner balance
With Regula Curti or Rebecca Robinson
Hatha Yoga is an Indian teaching over 4000 years old. In Sanskrit Hatha means "Ha" sun and "Tha" moon. Sun and moon stand for the polarities and dualities that we want to overcome in order to be completely in our inner center. Overcoming the opposites strives for the oneness of body, mind and soul.
Further information
The practice of Hatha Yoga consists of held and moving postures, each with its own form (asanas) determined by stretching, counter-stretching and resistance. Together with conscious breathing (pranayama), the circulation of energy and blood is stimulated and the entire nervous system is brought into balance. The practice of integrated meditation (dhyana) helps the mind to focus and develop an inner alertness.
At Seeschau we practice a gentle, meditative form of Hatha Yoga. Mindfulness and awareness training are designed to help us move forward with our own physical challenges. It is about exploring one's own limits and gently expanding them.

In 1984 David Life and Sharon Gannon developed Jivamukti Yoga. Today, this style is one of the most successful and popular yoga methods in the world. In Sanskrit, "Jiva" means the soul and "Mukti" means liberation. Jivamukti Yoga is a path to liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth while still alive.
Further information
Lessons include flowing vinyasa sequences, individual hands-on assistance, pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, Sanskrit chanting and deep relaxation. In Jivamukti Yoga, the asanas are integrated into choreographed movement sequences in a dance-like manner. The movements are performed with great calmness and inner balance. Over time, practitioners find their way into a natural, responsible, balanced and happy life.
The 5 pillars of Jivamukti Yoga
Ahimsa: non-violence, environmental protection
Bhakti: devotion
Nada: listening inside and outside, sound, tone and music
Shastra: study of the texts of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita
Dhyana: meditation
